Marissa began her piercing journey in 2018. She moved to Ohio from her native Indiana and joined the Good Life team in 2021. She’s been an integral part of the team ever since, and has been expanding her portfolio and service offerings. She believes that helix piercings are a great option for someone that is indecisive, as they can be dressed up for a variety of aesthetics. She loves exploring not only Akron, but the entire midwest. Her favorite Akron spots include Square Scullery, Evelyn’s Coffee & Bahn Mi, and Cilantro. One of Marissa’s favorite quotes is from Michelle Delio - “body modification is about personalizing the body; making it a true home for the spirit that dwells inside of it.” She feels that body modification can help people feel more at home in their bodies, and Marissa feels honored to be a part of that process. Marissa currently works with children ages 7 and up, and performs most body, facial, and oral piercings.
