The number one reason that Allison loves her job is bravery, and being able to see all the different forms that bravery can take. Allison loves when clients are able to find the courage to follow through with a new piercing, or even when clients find the courage to come into the shop for the first time. Any time someone is able to push through their fears, Allison finds a way to celebrate. She has a special talent for creating a welcoming environment in her piercing room, and loves to educate her clients during the process.
Allison started her career in 2008, apprenticing under Jeremiah here at Good Life. She was able to get a handle on basic techniques and knowledge, and then worked briefly at Diamond in the Rough before moving to Chicago. At Chicago Tattoo Company, Allison honed her skills, while also focusing on precision, speed, and excellent client care. She’s so excited to have returned to her home shop with this experience under her belt.
Allison loves lining up larger complicated ear projects, as well as working with trickier anatomy. She also finds joy in performing surface work. Allison works with children ages 8 and up, and also offers a wide range of oral piercings, as well as most vulva piercings. Allison has been an APP member since 2021.
